The church of San Francesco was built in 1614 in Piazza Onofrio Buccini, thanks to the legacy of the priest Giovan Domenico Lasco.

Very important is the painting of Paolo de Majo, presenting St Francesco between St Bonaventura and St Antonio, St Pietro D'Alcantata and St Giovanni Giuseppe della Croce.

On 1 and 2 August of each year is celebreted “Festa del perdono d'Assisi” namely you receive the plenary indulgence.
