The Church of the Santissima Annunziata is located in the center of the country. The project was carried out in the sixteenth century by Benvenuto Tortelli, but a few decades later Matteo Salerno made some changes.
Externally the facade is in Renaissance style. The church is equipped with a square-based bell tower, not adjacent to it but at the end of a building on the right of the Church.
The interior of the building is divided into three naves; the central nave ends with a square presbytery and is surmounted by a coffered ceiling made of golden wood, in the center of which there is an Assumption of the Virgin created in 1697 by Francesco Solimena.
Among the other works preserved in the church it is possible to mention an Annunciation by Massimo Stanzione, located behind the main altar, some paintings by Domenico Mondo in the side chapels and a series of works by the painter Paolo De Majo, along the walls of the central nave
